The Local Soldiers’ Home Associations

In Finland, there are 36 registered local Soldiers’ Home Associations, whose primary mission is to provide canteen services in all conditions.

The local Soldiers’ Home Associations work for the benefit of conscripts and offer a meaningful hobby for their members. The soldiers’ home organization has about 4450 volunteers as well as 169 employees who work for the local Soldiers’ Home Associations. The daily tasks of the soldiers’ home are handled by hired staff together with volunteer members.
